Ada Wallace is a newblood with the ability known as a minder. She is the second newblood recruited by Mare Barrow.
Biography[]
Glass Sword[]
Ada worked as a servant for Governor Rem Rhambos in Harbor Bay before being recruited by Mare Barrow for the Scarlet Guard.
King's Cage[]
Ada is one of the pilots who takes the Scarlet Guard and Montfort troops to the battle at Corvium.
War Storm[]
Ada is in Premier Dane Davidson's offices at Corvium leading the packing up before the Montfort army returns to their country. Her eyes run over every scrap of paper before it is packed away. She uses her ability to memorize everything. Ada will be dispatched to Command at Farley's orders.
Ada comes to Montfort with Command after Montfort breaks their alliance with Norta and the Rift.
Broken Throne[]
After the Nortan Civil War, she becomes a vital member of the Nortan States' delegation in working with Montfort and the Scarlet Guard. Cal works with her, and says that even though he's only known her for a year, she feels like an old friend.[1]. Cal believes that Ada Wallace might be the most valuable member of the Nortan State’s reconstruction effort. She is a real comfort to Cal because she knows him as more than an abdicated king. Mare can think of no one better to serve the Nortan States.
Personality[]
Ada is described as kind and soft. She is too kind for all the things she has seen and is unable to forget. She loves to read and learn new information. Ada is careful in avoiding scaring people with her ability. For example, at meetings she will consult maps and charts with everyone else, even though all the information is already stored in her mind.
Physical Description[]
Ada has deep golden skin, dark brown hair, and soft amber eyes. Her lips are full and dark. Her eyes are too kind for all she has seen and all she remembers. As one of the Nortan States' representatives, she wears a neat black uniform and a pin at her collar. The pin has three interlocking rings, red for Reds, white for newbloods, and silver for Silvers.
Abilities[]
Ada has the mutation that grants her a Silver-like ability despite having Red blood. Ada is a minder. This ability heightens intelligence. Minders also have a photographic memory. She can remember any physical or non-physical skill she learns, such as defensive arts and piloting the Blackrun jet. Her ability is very rare, even among newbloods. Ada uses her ability to analyze Scarlet Guard troop movements against the Lakelands, taking the generals of Command by surprise.
