Newbloods, also known as Ardents in Montfort, are those born with red blood but who possess superhuman abilities similar to Silvers. Newbloods, however, are much more powerful, having either unique abilities or stronger versions of their Silver counterparts. Newbloods are able to not only manipulate a particular element, but also create it.
The first public display of a Newblood in Norta was in 320 NE, during Tiberias Calore VII's Queenstrial, when Mare Barrow exhibited her Electricon abilities.[1]
